The Gala Benefit kicks off the festival, featuring spectacular performances by Yannis Adoniou's KUNST-STOFF, danceTactics performance group by Keith A. Thompson, johannes wieland, l-danse, Huiying Wills, and WHITE WAVE Young Soon Kim Dance Company with a black-tie reception to follow.

KUNST-STOFF will perform ONLY on Friday, Sept. 26 at 9pm.

The 2008 DUMBO Dance Festival showcases some "jewels" of cutting edge contemporary dance works. Featuring the freshest and most original contemporary artists, audiences will be able to enjoy up to 7 different companies in each hour of programming, including over 400 dancers from across the country.

All performances are FREE, although donations are encouraged. Tickets for festival performances are available at the door only; no reservations.
