Each of the four sections in this work draws its inspiration from a different contemporary composer. Matt Ingalls, Alfred Schnittke, Jethro DeHart and Arvo Pärt provide a score that stretches from arrhythmic electro-acoustical clarinet to the spriritual and heartfelt. This work interprets the rhythmic and dynamic challenges of each score by creating a new physicality through which the dancers relate to one another as well as the space they inhabit.
