Katie Gaydos
Katie Gaydos grew up in Santa Monica, CA where she trained at the Westside School of Ballet with Yvonne Mounsey and Colleen Neary. In 2007 Katie moved to the Bay Area to attend UC Berkeley, where she received her BA in English Literature. Since relocating to San Francisco she has had the opportunity to train with Summer Lee Rhatigan at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and has performed works by Kara Davis, Daiane Lopes da Silva, Leyya Tawil and Yannis Adoniou. Katie is also a freelance dance writer and has contributed to The Daily Californian, The San Francisco Bay Guardian, In Dance, and Emmaly Wiederholt’s new blog Stance On Dance. Katie has been working with Yannis Adoniou's KUNST-STOFF Dance Company since Fall 2011.
